DAVE SWARBRICK was his usual wonderful impish self.
Swarb arrived early for this gig and seemed happy and healthy. We had a long chat and as usual, he had me in stitches with his outrageous comments. Here's one:-
"I've just been contacted by the surgeon that did my operation.... could they do an experiment on my old lungs....Blimey! Told them not to hold a naked light too near to them of they might all might all go up in flames....Told them not to sniff them too closely or they might have all sorts of strange hallucinations."
